Last six years, Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon have teamed up to launch the Doernbecher Freestyle design series, matching patients from the hospital with designers and developers from the nearby Beaverton campus to work away on creating a series of collaborative sneakers. The result is a series of shoes that each [...]

Nike Air Force 1 – Olive Khaki/Black

I’m a huge fan of earth tone and camo colorways. I think it gives a nice understated feel to the shoe, with the overall potential of breakin necks. However, when done on an Air Force 1 mid, it has the potential to leave little to be desired, as most are not a fan of this silhouette. Using an all over olive khaki for the base, with hints of black, the kicks look classy and timeless. I almost feel like it overrides the fact that these are done on mids…almost makes you forget. If you like what you see, check for them in early December, where they will be released on our side of the pond at all Nike accounts.

It’s kind of hard to stare at these without getting dizzy, well for me anyway. White polka dots cover the sneaker from the patent leather upper to the sole. The sneakers seem like something you would expect from a Commes Des Garcons X Nike collaboration, but no, the sneaker giant did this one all by [...]
