The success of the recent Nike Air Force 1 “Metallic Silver Foamposite” has spawned Nike to create the Nike Air Force 1 High “Black Foamposite”. Comprised of Nike’s signature Foamposite material, the “Black Foamposite” Air Force 1 sits atop a clear sole and visible “AIR” unit. A mesh tongue and black strap above the “Nike Air” logo resembles the Nike Air Foamposite Pro, yet the sneaker holds characteristics of the signature Air Force 1. © Staff for Nike Sneaker Online , 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike , Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite , Nike Sportswear , Sneakers

Nike Sportswear 2010 Black History Month Air Force 1
February 5th, 2010
felix921 Nike Sportswear commemorates Black History Month with its newest rendition of the staple Air Force 1. Comprised of inspirational elements, the shoe touts an original design, which pays homage to the rise of Black enterprise, economic empowerment and the Harlem Renaissance individual behind this rise. The shoe’s main inspiration is clearly imprinted onto the upper: “The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge.” Silhouettes of a man and woman on the sock liner and hang tag signify that the change celebrated by Black History Month was made possible only by the participation of both genders. The boldest detail of the AF1 is its colorway, black red and green – the colors of the African American flag. In the tradition of community and giving back, Nike will be making a donation to Cheyney University, the oldest Black institution in the country and a key inspiration in the creation of this shoe. The kicks drop on February 18th at a selection of the countries’ top Nike accounts. © Staff for Nike Sneaker Online , 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike , Nike Air Force 1 , Nike Sportswear , Sneakers

Nike Air Force 1 Low Team Red
December 21st, 2009
lemontree Be it Christmas or Valentines Day, tis always the season for a fresh pair of Air Force 1’s and with both holidays upon us this Team Red model is more than welcome. The fairly simple nubuck and leather low top features a white swoosh, midsole and lining. Nike’s signature color of team red is predominantly featured in this one with it being the only other color on the shoe. Nubuck mudguards, heels and lace plates create a great tonal effect against the leather toebox and side panel. Look for these at select retailers soon.
