Adding the comfort and quality you would expect on the hardwood to your everyday gear, Jordan Brand launches its CMFT series. The CMFT Viz Air 11’s are the first of a casual series inspired by the Air Jordan line, featuring the distinguishable upper that you’ll recognize from the Air Jordan XI, built on a visible air-cushioning system and translucent elephant-print sole. Two colorways kick off the inaugural model, with available through select Jordan Brand account, including Proper.

With the Holiday season just around the corner, Jordan Brand begins unveiling looks into upcoming releases for the latter part of 2010. Arguably some of the most sought after retros, aside from the Cool Grey XI, are these three colorways of the AJ XIII, including two originals and the playoff version with slight changes. Stay tuned for a closer look as this is only a preview of what’s in store.

For the Fall 2010 season, Jordan Brand welcomes its Winterized Spizike, decked out for the cold Winter months and offered in a couple of solid, fashionable colorways. Both a dark cinder/black and black/anthracite kicks off the upcoming season, each featuring premium leather/suede uppers with durable, rugged outsoles, while still retaining that classic aura of the Air Jordan look. A release can be expected in September 2010 through finer Jordan Brand stockists.

During the basketball portion of 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, the original USA Dream Team would make their mark both on the hardwood as well as the world of sneakers with a now iconic colorway comprised of white, blue, red and gold. And while the Air Force 180 worn by Charles Barkley and the Air Jordan VII worn by Michael Jordan are undoubtedly the most notable of the special make-ups for the Olympics, other models included the Air Ballistic High worn by David Robinson. In commemoration of the original Dream Team footwear collection, the Air Zoom Barcelona creates a hybrid of both the Air Force 180 and the aforementioned Air Ballistic High. The Nike Air Zoom Barcelona should be available at select retailers as part of Nike Basketball’s summer collection.

One of this season’s highlights is the “Infrared” version of the Spizike, arguably Jordan Brand’s most popular and successful hybrid design to date. The kicks boast a black/white upper with hints of infrared and light blue, adding a perfect balance of color for the upcoming Summer season. A little while ago, Now I Remember offered an interesting creative approach combining various well-known personalities each sharing their own candid cellphone photography. Among the participants were some familiar names including Todd Jordan, Kevin “Spanky” Long, Jen “JR” Reynolds, Jerry Hsu, Curtis Buchanan, Tino Razo, Neckface, and Aaron “A-Ron” Bondaroff. For those unable to attend to initial Tokyo event, Now I Remember has launched online sharing the works of the aforementioned photographers.

Jordan Brand will release an upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 signature with the following pair dubbed the “W3lcome Home” created in association with the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade. Created in a varsity red and white colorway, touches of black outline the midsole and the liner. The insole reads “W3lcome Home” in reference to Wade’s roots in South Chicago and his move to Jordan Brand in 2009. The Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home” will release on May 8th at select retailers.

Set to release in a couple of weeks, we now get a closer look into Jordan Brand’s upcoming Air Jordan 11 “Silver Anniversary” release. Taking on the iconic AJ XI design, the kicks are done up in a tonal white colorway, of course boasting a patent leather upper with premium leather and canvas paneling. Definitely one of the nicer releases from this year’s Silver Anniversary Collection. Look for these at Jordan retailers come May 1st. />

Given a vintage treatment, the AJKO makes its long-awaited return this month as the classic canvas interpretation of Nike’s Air Jordan 1 finally sees a retro release. One of the franchise’s most coveted designs for the past couple of decades, the kicks maintain a distinct aura with only 5000 pairs rumored to have hit production. Both a white/red and classic Chicago Bulls colorway is featured, each seeing an official release on Saturday, March 27th (11am) via Primitive. />

Arguably one of the better Air Jordan releases in sometime, the VI sees a new colorway, appropriately dubbed the “Oreo.” The kicks take on a mostly white base with clear outsole detailing, black nubuck paneling, and splatter accents. A release is set for Saturday, March 20th via Jordan retail accounts, including Rugged Sole.

In its last episode before it changes locations, KATC present their 2010 March edition of their StockRoom show. Some notable drops covered by our friend for the month of March by our friend Maze include the Air Jordan 1 Alpha, the Oreo Air Jordan VI Retro and the Silver Anniversary Pack IV.

Three Jordan Brand-sponsored colleges will have the benefit of paying on-court homage to the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan franchise with a special collection. The Silver Anniversary collection includes themed jerseys as well as the Air Jordan 2010 signature sneaker. A look into the Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary is seen here and similar to the pair worn by Dwayne Wade at this year’s NBA All-Star game. Look for the University of North Carolina (February 24th vs. Florida State), Cal (February 25th vs. Arizona) and Georgetown (February 27th vs. Notre Dame) to each wear both the Silver Anniversary Air Jordan 2010 and a commemorative jersey later this month.

Here we feature detailed pictures of a collaboration with DJ Premier and Nike. The silhouette is the timeless Air Force 1 silhouette, which has been decked out in a black, dark green, dark blue colorway.

The shoes sports a premium construction, along with engraved details along the shoe including DJ Premier, which is written over the two heels.  Finishing off the unique design is the nice contrast stitching, as well as the translucent outsole which reveals an underlying design. Stay tuned in for their release date.
