For Summer 2010, CLOUT has teamed up with sign painter Sean Barton and OBLVN to release “The Sean Barton Collection”, a series of hand-drawn designed t-shirts, along with a crewneck sweatshirt. Sean Barton is an artist originally from San Jose, California. His work is both two-dimensional and three-dimensional and encompasses his passion for iconography and traditional sign painting. Sean has made his home in Europe, Canada, and all over the United States painting signs and store front windows on a daily basis including LA’s Undefeated, Stussy, Supreme, and Union flagship locations. Sean has exhibited throughout the United States, most recently in Tokyo, Japan with the Beautiful Losers team as Sean hosted a NIKE sportswear sponsored sign painting workshop. The collection is available for purchase now in the CLOUT online store.

Summer 2010 offers its fair share of simple Nike Air Force 1 options, with this latest adding to the two-tone Summer fest. Playing off a light charcoal nubuck upper, the kicks balance nicely with white leather swooshes and accompanying laces/midsoles. Look for these soon!

One of this season’s highlights is the “Infrared” version of the Spizike, arguably Jordan Brand’s most popular and successful hybrid design to date. The kicks boast a black/white upper with hints of infrared and light blue, adding a perfect balance of color for the upcoming Summer season. Today marks the unveiling of Nike’s US 2010 Home Kit, including a full range of soccer apparel for the Men’s National Team as they step up to the international stage for this summer’s World Cup in South Africa. Of course, the jerseys are the signature piece of the collection, drawing inspiration from the 1950 US Men’s National Team jerseys: as any American (or British, for that matter) soccer fan knows, 1950 marks the year when the US upset the favored English team in a landmark 1-0 victory. The 2010 design pays homage to that of 60 years prior with an iconic diagonal tonal sash, while the crest features further detailing in the form of the abbreviation ‘DTOM’ on the inside of the crest. The US National Team certainly hopes to send the message “Don’t Tread On Me” when the tournament kicks off in seven weeks. />

Stussy recently sat down with the son of famed illustrator Basil Wolverton for a chat regarding his father’s legendary art while producing a feature highlighting its new line of t-shirts showcasing Wolverton’s timeless style. A release for the tees can be expected tomorrow, November 14th while an introduction into the feature can be seen below.

One of the most well-respected cartoonists and illustrators from the golden age of comics book, Basil Wolverton was best known for his grotesque caricatures and work with Mad Magazine. Last Summer, The Gladstone Gallery in New York City exhibited a retrospective of his work, showcasing it for the first time in a gallery setting. For out Holiday Collection, we licensed some of Basil’s famous portraits for a series of t-shirts.
