Sneaker Tokyo Vol. 2 Hiroshi Fujiwara

From the people who brought you SHOE-MASTER the magazine, Sneaker Tokyo enters its second volume with a focus on the venerable Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design. The book will go into detail Hiroshi Fujiwara’s archives of sneakers owned and designed as well as interview with Mark Parker of Nike and Hiroki Nakamura of visvim. Sneaker Tokyo Vol. 2 Hiroshi Fujiwara will release mid-May with a retail price of ¥1,800 JPY + tax (approximately $20 USD). I Remember Now Exhibition

With the proliferation of the cell phone camera and its subsequent own style of photography, Now I Remember brings together eight different personalities as they each share own photos captured with their cell phones. The participants include Todd Jordan, Kevin “Spanky” Long, Jen “JR” Reynolds, Jerry Hsu, Curtis Buchanan, Tino Razo, Neckface, and Aaron “A-Ron” Bondaroff. The show is set to open on Saturday, March 13th at STITCH TOKYO and will conclude on March 22nd, 2010. Two t-shirts will also release to accompany the exhibition. Nike Sportswear Paris

After Tokyo and New York, Nike Sportswear has opened a new lifestyle store in the Marais area in Paris. Located in a former bookstore, much of the original details of the three-storey building’s façade and interior have been retained. The interior has however been somewhat enhanced with graphics by French illustrators Antoine & Manuel who created designs for not only for murals, but also wallpaper and the store’s carpet. As per all Nike Sportswear stores, the outlet carries Tier Zero apparel and footwear. The store also features an ID studio, allowing customers to designer their own Sneaker colourways of Nike models. KRINK x Levi’s 2009 Fall/Winter Collection

A familiar name in the realm of graffiti, KRINK and his signature drip style makes its way onto a collection with Levi’s Japan. The five product collection includes the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK 505, the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK JKT, the “Drip” KRINK Sweat Parka, the KRINK Raglan Tee “K-60″ and the KRINK Tee “K-60″. The collection will be available on November 14th, 2009. As well a KRINK exhibition will take place between the collection’s debut and Sunday, December 13th at CINCH TOKYO who also serves as the retailer for the release.
